If someone had told me four years ago that one day I'd appear on a billboard in Times Square, I probably would have laughed it off as a wild dream. Yet, fast forward to 2025, that's exactly what happened—my commitment to mentoring students in their tech careers brought me to one of the world's most iconic locations.

My journey in mentorship began when I joined Walmart as a Software Engineer. From day one, I realized how critical good guidance could be for students and early-career professionals in navigating the complexities of tech careers. I started offering mentorship sessions across various platforms, diving into 1:1 career discussions, resume reviews, mock interviews, and personalized tech suggestions.

Seeing the transformative impact of personalized guidance motivated me further. Students who were initially hesitant and uncertain became confident, landing roles in top tech companies. Each success story energized me more, confirming the power of dedicated mentorship.

My move to Microsoft didn't slow things down. In fact, it amplified my passion and the scale of my mentorship efforts. Leveraging my experiences at Microsoft, including working with cutting-edge platforms like Azure HDInsight and Microsoft Fabric, I shared real-world insights to help mentees thrive.

This ongoing dedication didn't go unnoticed. In 2025, I was featured on a Times Square billboard in New York City, highlighting my contributions in career guidance and mentorship. Seeing my face displayed in one of the busiest crossroads in the world felt surreal and profoundly humbling.

Yet, this recognition was never just about me. It symbolized the countless students I've had the privilege to guide, support, and empower along their journeys. It was a testament to their trust, hard work, and determination as much as it was about my commitment.

Today, this milestone fuels my passion even more. The billboard might be a temporary highlight, but my commitment to mentorship remains long-lasting. I’ll continue to guide, inspire, and empower aspiring tech professionals, because nothing compares to the joy of seeing others succeed.
